    Get that VW Transporter ready for Bus City XVIII. Held at Schoolhouse Canyon Campground in Guerneville, California, this is sure to be a family friendly event that you do not want to miss. This year the event runs from Thursday May 14th - Sunday May 17, 2026. The campground opens up this weekend just for the VW Family and is closed to the general public, with that being said, this is strictly a VW Transporter and VW era campers only event. There are no reservations for this event, the sites are large and campsite sharing is encouraged. Never in the previous 17 years of this event has anyone ever been turned away due to lack of space.     We are changing things up for 2026 and we are bringing you along for the adventure! Drive your bus out to the Uhwarrie near Charlotte for a camping weekend. Lowered, stock, and raised buses welcome - there will be something for everyone. We will be caravanning out to the show show/camp site Friday morning from Charlotte and spending the day exploring.     This is an Air and Water Cooled VW car show at the amazing country back drop of Hopkins Farm Brewery located at 3833 Rider Lane, Havre De Grace, Maryland. The event is held on May 17th at 11am to 4pm. Car registration will be from 11am to 1:30pm with trophies and awards announced at 2pm. We will have many trophies and awards for air and water cooled in multiple categories. Vendors are welcomed at $20 a spot along the car show field.     Niagara Falls, Ontario

    With show car attendance peaking at over 300, the GermainAire Car Show & Social is one of the largest VW shows in Canada. Located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Firemens Park offers plenty of shade, a playground, hiking trails and more. it makes for a great day or weekend for the whole family. And guess what? SPECTATORS ARE FREE! Saturday will see the traditional cruise around the scenic Niagara Falls area. After the cruise, participants can relax at the host hotel or the campground and make some new VW friends while getting reacquainted with old ones. Sunday is the show and swap meet. This year we will be adding a VW bus photo booth, in addition to more vendors offering clothing, art, and other VW related goodies. There will be an engine blow contest, food trucks, games and activities for the kids. Dan Leadbetter, the editor of VW Trends Magazine will be covering the show in 2026.     Saturday July 18, 2026 is our 13th annual "Frog Rock Gathering" from noon to 3pm at 212 Pomfret Rd (RT-44) Eastford, CT 06242. This is a FREE informal gathering for all Volkswagens old and new. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Seafood, and Ice Cream will be available at the Frog's food stand. Have a great lunch with some VW folks and enjoy the live acoustical music.
